I was born into the family of a simple soldier of the Spade Suit, Dua, from the creation of the Universe, who fought on the side of THE Fake. In one of the battles, there were 1000 Devils left in my Legion.
THE Fake gave us the order to never surrender our positions for the next 38 cycles from the moment of the order. The chances of fulfilling this order were approaching zero, but the order was carried out.
I was the only one left. Back then, we didn’t take prisoners, and destruction awaited me according to the agreements between the sides. But the black ones were in no hurry to destroy me. That was when the culture of exchange was just beginning to emerge.
The Angels offered me three options:
- Life and waiting for exchange in isolation from the moment of capture for an unlimited number of cycles;
- Switching to the side of the blacks;
- Destruction.
I chose Life – the first of the reds in all time since the creation of the Universe.
I was guarded by an Angel from the family of a simple soldier of the Hearts Suit, Dua, from the creation of the Universe, who fought on the side of THE Truth.
My favorite name was Alex, his favorite name was Muhammad. The probability that Muhammad would return to his usual life was equal to the probability of my exchange. I calculated that this would happen with a probability of 78% no earlier than 322 cycles from the moment of my capture. In fact, we were doomed to live with him together for an unbearably long time outside of our usual life. On Earth, they would call this: “doomed to die together on a deserted island.”
We both wanted to Live, as we were young and saw ourselves in the future as Aces with a big Family. We made a bet that by the 38th cycle from the beginning of my capture, his arguments would convince my Conscience that THE Truth is higher than THE Fake.
